Heaven, once again, relived

"Ahhhh... Heaven, once again, relived.

Two years ago (Jan 4) we were in Winter’s Heaven at Beachwood. Island Vacation Rentals found us our perfect getaway. Smiles still abound. And this weekend they did it once again, here at Beachcomber for us. Affording us the opportunity to celebrate the best the San Juan’s has to offer. And to attend the wedding of a native Lummi Islander at the Congressional Church just down the road. We are celebrating Live, Love, New Beginnings for the Bride and Groom and new ‘adventures’ for two of the attendees. Watching reefnet fishermen and being able to get some reefnet salmon (incredible taste—best ever!!) AND just kicking back to enjoy all this wonderful island and her people have to share with us.

How blessed we are to be native to this part of the country AND to savor her rich bounty.
